Sync your VS Code setup across machines

Settings Sync is built into VS Code — no extension needed. Open the Manage gear menu (or the Accounts icon in the Activity Bar) and choose Backup and Sync Settings, then sign in with a GitHub or Microsoft account. It syncs settings, keyboard shortcuts, snippets, tasks, UI state, extensions and profiles, so a fresh machine picks up your whole setup after one sign-in.
