Recover unsaved work after a Blender crash

Blender auto-saves your file every 2 minutes by default. After a crash, reopen Blender, go to File > Recover > Auto Save, pick the timestamped _autosave.blend file in the browser, and open it — then immediately Save As so you don't overwrite the backup. File > Recover > Last Session instead opens quit.blend, written whenever Blender closes normally. Blender also keeps your previous save as a .blend1 file next to the original.
